The Boundy-Mills lab shares the joy of yeast with the general public in several venues.

In February, we participate in UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day. Over 800 people visit the yeast exhibits to learn about microbes, yeast, fermented foods, the Phaff Yeast Culture Collection, and discoveries made using the Phaff collection.

In June, we present a unit on microbiology for Bio Boot Camp, a 1-week day camp for middle school youth.
